Hey There! I’m Hilary.

I was born and raised in Alabama, received my BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design, and relocated to Portland, OR in 2010. I am completing my master's in clinical mental health counseling with a certificate in gender-affirming care at Antioch University, which prioritizes a multicultural and social justice-oriented perspective.

With a rich background in yoga and meditation, I bring a unique perspective to my counseling work. I integrate mindfulness techniques into sessions, fostering a sense of present-moment awareness and acceptance. I firmly believe that the counseling relationship catalyzes change, and I prioritize creating a collaborative and empowering space for my clients.

I am interested in holding space for all emotions and their experiences in the body. I am specifically passionate about providing support for those experiencing the overwhelm of grief and loss. I am actively engaging in additional Hakomi, IFS, and EFT training.

I am passionate about working with a diverse range of clients. I particularly welcome individuals and couples who identify as neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+.

In my free time, I love baking, swimming, hanging out with my two teens, and painting abstract landscapes. I am currently a student intern, providing counseling under supervision, and I am working toward completing my clinical hours for graduation.
